The dead rise again, thanks to the mysterious and nearly magical effects of Jjaro technology, as reverse-engineered by Humanity in the year 2194. By 2472, the UESC Marathon was sent on its voyage to the Tau Ceti system for colonization, with a security detail of the then-up-to-date Mjolnir Mark IV Battleroid Cyborgs. When the Marathon arrived at Tau Ceti, however, they were met with the slaver race of the Pfhor. Nine Battleroids fought on the surface of Tau Ceti, a battle that was won thanks to the actions of a security officer and the rampant AI Durandal, both still aboard the Marathon, though when both left, Pfhor reinforcements arrived and annihilated Tau Ceti, and the Battleroids there.
One of them, however, were not fated to die then; instead they were invited into another galaxy, a stranger in a strange place. The Battleroid now drifts from place to place, doing what he does best: killing unrelentingly anything that would oppose it or its unknown last command.
In AGDoom, the Battleroid is one of two secret classes, specifically introduced in Version 2.0, mirroring the gameplay style of 2.5d FPS Marathon (specifically Infinity), complete with incredibly low gravity and weapons that can propel the class backwards. With health and shield stats similar to the Beraltian, the Battleroid's shields will protect him totally, though the values of his health and armor are more similar to the Nova Trooper; his hard cap of 100 health makes him especially vulnerable, though not so much as the Beraltian, though doesn't share the Beraltian's massive shield stacks. The Battleroid must revolve around a mix of aggressive gameplay and extreme lunges with his low gravity and weapon kickback to avoid damage. If the Battleroid picks up an additional pistol or an additional Super Shotgun pickup, he can dual wield his 2 and 3.5 weapons with altfire.
