Freehold

The Kith Freehold was the precursor to the Bedran Empire. It was founded by the Kith approximately five centuries before the arrival of Bedras. Several of the worlds colonized during this time would become the capital worlds of the later Marches. The Kith Freehold was devastated by the Enmerkar War before eventually recovering its lost worlds during the Kith retaliation. The Freehold was dissolved in 90 ABA and reconstituted into the Bedran Empire.
