The Keelborg is an enemy in the upcoming AGDoom Version 3. As one of the earliest introductory enemies, the Keelborg itself is almost benign, possessing no immediate methods of attack. However, a Keelborg is on the lookout for the corpses of fallen soldiers, being able to latch onto their heads and interact with their body through the brain. When a Keelborg has taken over a body, it will use it offensively, and the inherent attributes of the soldier's former identity will influence its attacks and abilities (for instance, a Keelborg controlling a Bedran Soldier is faster than any other class the Keelborg may take over).

Once a Keelborg has a victim, it cannot be harmed directly until it detatches from the body when it detects it has taken too much damage and is at risk. Once the Keelborg releases the body, it will return to its lookout for corpses, and may even re-attach to the same corpse it was previously controlling if given the opportunity. However, "gibbing" (dealing excessive damage to) the Keelborg-controlled body can destroy the Keelborg at the same time, as can Electric attacks and "Nova" damage, giving an incentive for being overly aggressive to Keelborgs.
