The Nanospectre is, as the name suggests, an intricate micro-network of nanobots that form a bipedal combat form focused on stealth tactics. In its proper form, the Nanospectre can shape its arms into blades to swipe at its enemies, though its ability to switch to "swarm" form for added movement options. In swarm form, the nanobots switch to a swirling swarm which allows them the ability to "fly", move through impeding objects or entities, and generally move faster, however, they are unable to attack until they reform. Nanospectres create minimal noise, and almost no noise whatsoever while in swarm form, so a popular strategy of theirs is to enter swarm form (especially when well out of sight of their enemy), sneak up behind them, reform and then begin their strike. So, when a Nanospectre is about, it is highly encouraged to keep your guard up at all times.
One of the Nanospectre's biggest weaknesses is using gravity or splash damage against them. Their swarm form reduces their base "parts" into being so small it is functionally impossible to hit them with any precise ranged or melee attack. However, using an explosive attack, or gravity-based attacks, the nanobots can be easily hit. The trick is hitting something nearby them that can apply these types of attacks, as well as knowing of their precense outright.
