Nova Trooper armor is meant to withstand ballistic and energy weapons alike, though is usually not supported by integrated energy shields, having to rely on external shield batteries, which are partially supported. Furthermore, the armor is designed to be as form-fitting as possible to maintain agility as well as admirable levels of protection, the Nova Trooper is largely uninhibited in speed. In addition, Nova Trooper armor supports on-board temperature regulation for comfort in many climates, as well as on-board sensor technology for automated reconnaissance.
